Join Our Team as a Process Engineer!

Exciting Opportunity to work on the SMR Project

Be part of designing complex thermal and fluid systems for the innovative SMR project. Contribute to a groundbreaking new build in the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze & Calculate: Support cooling water island systems with advanced analysis and calculation methods.
  2. Flow & Thermal Analyses: Perform static and transient flow and thermal analyses using software tools.
  3. System Design & Integration: Assist in designing and integrating various systems.
  4. Documentation: Produce, review, and update system documentation.
  5. Control Philosophy: Define control strategies for system performance.
  6. Component Sizing: Determine appropriate sizes for system components.
  7. Thermal-Hydraulic Modeling: Conduct thermal-hydraulic calculations and modeling.
  8. Equipment Specifications: Develop detailed equipment specifications.

Qualifications

  1. Education: Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Skills: Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
  3. Experience: Proven experience in producing design documentation and test specifications.
  4. Software: Proficiency with PIPESIM, Flomaster, or similar 1D CFD software.

Applicants must meet UK security clearance criteria due to the nature of the work.
