Job Title: Process Engineer - Decarbonisation Projects \nEmployment Type: Full-time, Permanent \nSalary: £55k - £70k basic DOE \n \nMy client is a leading Developer, Owner & Operator within the power sector (Gas), as part of their group wide Net Zero decarbonisation programme they are now looking to hire an experienced process engineer to support future CCS projects. \n \nThe successful candidate can be based at any of my clients existing plants, (Northeast Lincolnshire, Hertfordshire, Wiltshire or the Northwest) \n \nYour responsibilities \n- Provide Process Engineering support to CCS projects, including CO2 compression, liquefaction and storage. \n- Provide Process Engineering support for other energy projects (i.
e. CCGT, green H2 ) as required. \n- Development and/or review of philosophies and descriptions for safe and efficient design and operation.
\n- Development and/or review of lead documents, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), plant layout drawings and cost estimates. \n- Coordination with other engineering disciplines within and outside the business. \n- Act as owner's engineer representing the company's interests through all engineering phases up to commercial operation.
\n- Management of internal and external project stakeholders, including project partners, contractors, and technical specialists. \n \nYour profile \n- Must have minimum 5+ year's experience in Power . \n- Engineering degree level qualification (or equivalent), ideally in process engineering.
\n- Relevant experience in engineering/owner's engineering of CCS plant or similar, specifically preparation of conceptual designs, engineering studies and tender specifications. \n- Experience of working in an international business environment and in leading/ cooperating with engineering contractors. \n- Knowledge of relevant process engineering software tools (e.g.
ProMax, Aspen). \n- Resilient team player with a high level of self-motivation. \n- Business-fluent English with good communication.
