Our client is commercialising an innovative carbon-based anode material manufacturing process and is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to help take it from lab to large-scale production.In this role, you’ll be the vital link between R&D, manufacturing partners, and compliance teams — ensuring processes are efficient, safe, and production-ready.Key Responsibilities:Design, document, and optimise manufacturing processes for carbon-based anode materialsWork with external partners to integrate technical knowledge into scale-up plansEnsure compliance with regulatory and safety standardsSupport scale-up from lab to pilot and full production, including equipment selection and process controlIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance qualityContribute to facility layout and future process specificationsAbout You:Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, etc3+ years’ experience in process development or scale-up within chemical, materials, or battery manufacturingExperience with carbon materials (activated carbon, graphite) is desirableStrong understanding of chemical processing, mass balance, and industrial safetyProven track record of working cross-functionallyExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsThis is a rare opportunity to be part of a fast-growing industry and help shape the future of sustainable energy.Apply now to join a team bringing cutting-edge battery technology to market.
