Are you a Design Engineer or similar (SolidWorks) who wants to move into Bespoke Product Innovation and Development for an award winning Construction group?

This is a unique opportunity to join one of Europe\'s leading Building Product Manufacturers, working on new and existing products used across a range of Construction Projects globally. You\'ll move beyond repetitive drafting into R&D work that makes a tangible impact.

This Design Engineer / R&D role blends design, analysis and experimentation, giving you variety, progression and the chance to see ideas turned into manufactured products used around the world.

What you\'ll do

• Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce detailed CAD drawings for new products and modifications
• Support value engineering, CFD analysis, prototyping and testing
• Drive product improvement projects that deliver cost savings and performance gains
• Collaborate with manufacturing, finance and marketing to ensure feasibility and commercial viability
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and patent support files
• Contribute to innovation workshops and new product concepts across the group

What you\'ll need

• From a Product Design / R&D background or similar
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Analytical, hands-on problem solver with strong attention to detail
• Passion for innovation and sustainability in the construction/built-environment sector
