Production Engineer

This role would suit a detail-oriented engineer with a background in lean manufacturing or assembly processes, ideally within the defence, automotive, or aerospace industries. It is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving efficiency, and being hands-on in a production environment while collaborating across engineering and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Transfer and embed production knowledge from the European parent site to the UK facility. Act as the shopfloor focal point for manufacturing engineering and tooling within the AIT area, supporting operators and driving continuous improvement. Lead structured problem-solving activities and process optimisation using lean principles. Provide design-for-manufacture input during product development and manage engineering change implementation. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality standards across all manufacturing activities.
In return you'll receive a salary up to £50,000, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and 7% pension contributions.
