We prioritize staff training, development, and career progression, offering a comprehensive development program.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join our successful team based in Leeds, supporting clients in the North Region.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Controls and Assurance team on complex projects.Coordinate with programme managers, project managers, Quantity Surveyors, risk consultants, and planners to deliver timely, professional advice.Ensure data consistency across cost and other project control disciplines.Align actual costs with financial data.Review contractor and supplier payment applications against project progress.Assist in implementing and maintaining project controls for cost, schedule, and risk.Manage change processes, including producing change reports and analyzing cost impacts.Verify client’s cost data, such as estimates and forecasts.Generate monthly reports and updates using software like Power BI or Tableau.Candidate RequirementsRecognized diploma, degree, or relevant experience.Membership or working towards membership of RICS, APM, ACostE, or similar.Experience with Primavera planning and scheduling tools.Knowledge of project controls methodologies and earned value analysis tools like Prism or Cobra.Ability to reconcile costs across systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.Experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.Understanding of contract management (NEC, IChemE, FIDIC).Strong client engagement and advisory skills.Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Proficiency in IT and awareness of health and safety legislation.Ideal Candidate AttributesConfident, professional, with excellent communication skills.Analytical, proactive, and creative thinker.Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks.Collaborative with strong relationship-building skills.Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
