An opportunity for an Project Controls Engineer to join PM Group working for us in our Manchester or Birmingham offices.

Job Title: Project Controls Engineer

Location: Birmingham/Manchester

Contract: Full time - Permanent


Responsibilities

As the Project Controls Engineer you will provide Project Controls support to project managers & team members to assist with execution of Projects ahead of schedule and under budget

You will also provide Cost engineering support and input to the Project Risk and opportunity management procedure and maintenance of the Project Risk Register


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Construction discipline
  • Experience in being part of a team running a full scale Project Controls including Cost, Earned value, Scheduling, Estimating, Quantity surveying, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • An analytical mindset
  • P6 and Microsoft Project experience
  • Independent worker
