Project Design Engineer| Leicestershire | Permanent | Salary up to £50000| Flexible Working Cherry Professional are looking for an experienced Project Design Engineer. You will be responsible for managing the engineering details required to ensure solutions are designed and implemented safely, cost-effectively, and in compliance with all relevant standards.

Responsibilities: • Dust extraction system design to adhere to HSE and ATEX regulations, adhering to customer requirements • Conducting site surveys • Completion of drawings to ISO 128 standards • Value and Cost Management: Drive value engineering, identify added value and cost-saving opportunities and ensure solutions remain within budget • Review equipment specifications for standardisation, analyse tender returns and develop design risk assessments to ensure legislative compliance • Prepare site installation packs, H&S files, and ITT technical sections, while managing general project documentation • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, attend customer meetings, and contribute to design and project review sessions • Support process improvements, maintain knowledge of local regulations, and represent the company positively in alignment with cultural values • Attending project meetings • Managing and overseeing projects • Managing sub contractors
