Project Engineer

who thrives on detail, enjoys problem-solving, and can bring designs to life from pre-mobilisation through to handover. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects while working closely with design, procurement, and project management teams. What Youll Be Doing

Leading site design surveys and ensuring accurate information flows to design teams.

Reviewing tenders with a sharp eye on design, programme, and potential risks.

Running design Q&A sessions with clients and project teams.

Managing RFIs to resolve project queries efficiently.

Preparing procurement documents, technical submittals, and project programmes.

Coordinating labour and material measures to keep projects on track.

Working with procurement to ensure materials, plant, and equipment are ordered on time.

Supporting contract awards by reviewing subcontractor quotes.

Overseeing Contractor Design Portion (CDP) elements.

Drafting clear site instructions and preparing commissioning and handover documents.

What Were Looking For

HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

Experience in a similar role, with strong technical knowledge of M&E disciplines.

Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple projects.

Strong communication skills

able to work confidently with everyone from site teams to senior stakeholders.

High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Good knowledge of British Standards, health & safety, and industry best practice.

Full UK driving licence.
