As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Project Engineer to join the team and play a key role in the delivery of technically complex engineering projects. This position is central to the successful execution of multidisciplinary work, supporting Project Managers, coordinating technical deliverables, and ensuring engineering activities are delivered accurately, safely, and on time. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Deliver high-quality engineering support across all stages of project execution * Prepare and review documentation including P&IDs, PFDs, datasheets, specifications, and fabrication drawings * Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery of project materials and documentation * Assist in vendor technical evaluations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes * Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure technical integrity * Collaborate with Project Managers to align deliverables with project scope, schedule, and budget * Apply cost-effective and value-driven engineering solutions to enhance efficiency * Identify technical risks and propose corrective actions early in the project cycle * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and share lessons learned across teams Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience supporting engineering projects within oil & gas, chemicals, or petrochemical environments * Strong knowledge of P&ID and PFD development, technical documentation, and engineering standards * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously * Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with internal and external stakeholders * Experience in modular skid systems, pressure vessels, or piping design advantageous * EPC project experience highly desirable * HNC or higher qualification in Mechanical or Process Engineering (or equivalent)  Summary Position: Project Engineer Location: Stoke-on-Trent Duration: Permanent Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 Benefits Start: Notice dependent If you are a technically capable Project Engineer with experience in process or mechanical design and want to contribute to complex, high-impact engineering projects within a respected global group, we’d like to hear from you.
