Project Engineer / Manager - Water & Utilities (Full Time Permanent Role)

Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday - days only - 40 hours per week.

We are working with a reputable water and utilities company that is seeking a Project Manager. This hybrid role involves both office-based planning and site visits. The company is open to considering junior engineers who are eager to develop into a project management role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver projects in the water and utilities sector on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and suppliers for seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
  • Travel to project sites as required for inspections, meetings, and supervision.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management within utilities or water sectors preferred.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
  • For junior applicants: eagerness to learn and develop under mentorship
