East Lancashire - £50-55k + overtime Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a specialist engineering company based in East Lancashire. This company designs and builds specialist equipment for manufacturing environments and is looking for a mechanically biased Project Engineer to join the team. The successful Project Engineer will have extensive experience managing a variety of projects and will ideally have over 4-5 years of industry experience. Key aspects of the Project Engineer role include; Take responsibility for contracts from the receiptof order from the Sales team, through to successful install and handover Manage and own a range of projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately. Project Engineer role will suit someone whos worked on the supplier side rather than purely in house for example an OEM or special purpose machine manufacturer would be ideal Applicants need a minimum of NVQ Level 4 or City and Guilds qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Produce detailed project plans, providing weekly updates to the Senior Management Team. Act as a proactive, solutions-driven Project Engineer who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges. Work with customers, including attending site visits when required. Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) to ensure project requirements are met. Maintain a flexible approach to working hours (e.g., starting later if needed), with the role being primarily office-based. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer seeking variety, as projects are rarely the same. The company is an expanding SME, so a Project Engineer experienced in working for smaller-sized businesses may be particularly well suited. The client is based in East Lancashire, easily commutable from Bury, Rochdale, Heywood, Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington, Darwen, and Bolton. Please apply today for an immediate response.
