Belcan is excited to be looking for a Project Engineer! Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our client's team in Broughton, supporting a major ramp-up in operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge industrial projects and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in aerospace manufacturing. What You'll Be Doing As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in the industrialization of Jigs and Tools, working closely with R&D and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. You'll be involved from concept through to final handover, making a real impact on production efficiency and innovation. Your day-to-day will include: Leading the creation, development, and modification of Jigs and Tools projects Ensuring successful industrialization and handover to operations Integrating mature technologies in line with R&D strategies Collaborating with R&D to align with Airbus Industrial Vision Designing and specifying tooling assets based on operational needs Supporting production investigations using tooling and metrology expertise Defining certification and qualification processes and schedules What We're Looking For Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work from first principles in manufacturing disciplines Knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and Business Information Systems Familiarity with aircraft production methods and procedures Understanding of cross-functional relationships in engineering Leadership qualities and a self-motivated approach If you're a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
