Good Afternoon,\n\nI am currently representing Hillingdon Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience\n\nWe are looking for a Project Engineer role will be: UB8 1UW Hybrid\n\nThe right candidate will:\n\nResponsible for the efficient and effective works delivery of a wide range of both major and/or minor highway improvement and repair schemes such as public realm enhancements, LiP schemes, planned carriageway/footway works, vehicle crossovers, street furniture replacements, patching programmes, Councillor improvement schemes, signing and lining works etc. and must be able to use AutoCAD\n\nResponsible for the efficient and effective delivery of minor project designs and the associated day-to-day management and technical compliance of projects delivered by the team to ensure project outcomes (cost, quality, time, health & safety ) meet the required contractual, technical, and legal standards\n\n * Undertake preliminary site surveys, taking various dimensions, logging street furniture, road markings and signs etc, to allow construction drawings to be prepared for the full assessment and implementation of all crossover works.\n\n * Undertake consultation with internal and external parties as appropriate for the effective delivery of the crossover service\n\n * Undertake site supervision and monitor the delivery of crossover works\n\n * Raise Task/Works orders, undertake measurement of works, check contractor applications for payment, certification, assess variations and final accounts.\n\n * Deal with enquiries and correspondence relating to crossovers.\n\nWe require the following:\n\n * Significant experiences of highways project design and delivery.\n\n * Experience of working in a wide range of Highways projects using both traditional and modern forms of design, maintenance and repair.\n\n * Proven experience of meeting deadlines with effective accurate project reporting at management/project level.\n\nTo discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone number removed)\n\nIf you know someone who would be a good fit for the role, please send over their contact details and get in touch, as we do offer a generous referral .\n\nIF THIS ROLE IS NOT APPLICABLE TO YOU, BUT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ROLE, PLEASE SEND OVER YOUR CV AND I WILL CHECK WHAT ROLES I HAVE AVAILABLE.\n\nLook forward to speaking with you soon
