Days Shift Monday to Friday A growing design and manufacturing company based in South Shields, specialising in bespoke marine and offshore equipment, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The business works with industry-leading operators to deliver back-deck and subsea control systems and is expanding its manufacturing and production capabilities. The successful candidate will have experience in engineering within the oil and gas, subsea, or related manufacturing sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects ranging from £50k to over £1m, providing hands-on involvement from assembly and procurement through to delivery and client support. Key Responsibilities: Provide project management and client support, including site visits and build assistance.
Assist with assembly, manufacturing processes, and procurement of bespoke equipment.
Coordinate with suppliers, manage deliveries, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Support HSE management within the workshop environment.
Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, and risk assessments.
Manage logistics including shipments, goods in/out, and exports.
Offer flexible support across projects and business needs as required.
Candidate Profile: Degree-qualified in engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant industry; engineering graduates with suitable experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, IT, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and adaptability.
Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
