Our team is building a dynamic network to meet the changing demands for electricity and increasingly, renewable electricity – safely, securely and sustainably in the communities we serve.At SP Energy Networks, we know people are central to building a better future, quicker and we are seeking new talent to join our team.**What You’ll Be Doing*** Communicate effectively within the Transmission Operations team and maintain strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.* Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.* Develop and manage a rolling three-year vegetation management programme.* Contribute to financial forecasting and review contractor invoices, challenging discrepancies.* Ensure policy compliance and drive continuous improvement through quality processes.* Resolve operational challenges and manage contractor performance to ensure efficient delivery.* Handle customer complaints professionally and secure land access consents and wayleaves.* Support trainee development and promote customer service excellence.* Improve business efficiency and participate in relevant training.* Minimise travel and non-productive time.**What You’ll Bring*** Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, safety legislation, and network development procedures.* Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Familiarity with network data systems and commercial/regulatory frameworks.* Experience managing people and contractors effectively.**Minimum Requirements*** Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering preferred, or HNC with relevant industry experience.* Experience in a utility-based role or postgraduate with suitable engineering knowledge.* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.**What’s in it for you**As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
