Project Engineer
Reed is working with a growing manufacturing and engineering company looking to add to their projects team currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to play a crucial role in liaising between various disciplines involved in their projects. This position involves significant engagement across multiple teams, ensuring seamless project execution and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Day-to-day of the role:
Collaborate with the Contracts Manager and Head of Projects to interpret client requirements and ensure effective contract conclusions.
Provide engineering support including regular design reviews, technical query management, and interface management.
Attend and contribute to kick-off, pre-production, and regular progress meetings with subcontractors and clients.
Coordinate project responsibilities, maintain project schedules, and manage any necessary changes or discrepancies.
Address client queries and concerns promptly, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage subcontractors/vendors, ensuring compliance with specifications, scope of work, and contractual terms.
Oversee the preparation and timely submission of project documentation, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in the Nuclear Industry or Oil and Gas Industry is advantageous but not essential.
Proven project management experience and ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with peers and stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance standards, including ISO 9001:2015.
Ability to travel to customer sites, including overseas.
