Project Engineer Location: Ipswich, Suffolk (with travel to various project sites across the UK and Ireland) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 gross per annum Our client is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join their Team. This role is pivotal in leading engineering efforts across a variety of innovative marine projects. The successful candidate will benefit from a professionally accredited training programme and contribute to projects across the British Isles. Day-to-day of the role: Tender Engineering:

Lead the engineering of client requirements into feasible solutions that can be effectively costed and bid. Pre-Construction Engineering:

Oversee the conversion of tender concepts into actionable plans, collaborating with fabrication, operations, and project delivery teams. Delivery Engineering:

Manage the project delivery phase, ensuring detailed development of technical information for client approval, material procurement, and construction activities. Project Management:

Oversee the execution of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring collaboration and alignment with all project stakeholders. Project Controls:

Assist in managing schedules, controlling project costs, and overseeing cash flow. Construction and Commissioning:

Ensure adherence to Health and Safety processes and actively engage in turning designs into reality on-site. Required Skills & Qualifications: Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering (MEng/MSc). At least 3 years of experience in marine or engineering construction projects, with a proven track record in project management and delivery. Strong project management skills and client/stakeholder facing abilities. Proven problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Experience with Eurocodes, British Standards, PIANC, DNV, and other relevant design codes and standards, preferably for temporary works. Understanding of compliance with relevant H&S regulations, including CDM 2015. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autodesk, and Design software packages. Full UK Driving Licence.
