RoleDescription
TheyareseekingaProjectEngineertosupportanexpandingportfolioofbiomethane-to-gridprojectsintheUK.Thisisafull-timerolebasedinStaffordshire,withflexibleworkingencouragedwhereprojectdemandsallow.
Therolewelcomesapplicationsfromrecentgraduatestoexperiencedprofessionals.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbesupportedtotakeownershipofprojectsfrominitialcustomercontactthroughquotation,design,delivery,andcommissioning.
YoullbeworkingonprojectsacrosstheUKand,alongsidetheprojectmanagementteam,takeresponsibilityforthehighquality,ontimedeliverytomultiplecustomers.Inadditiontothefullsystems,itisexpectedyouwillalsotakeresponsibilityforsmaller,optimisationandimprovementprojects.Youwillalsoworkcloselywithserviceandcommissioningteamtoensurethefullproductlifecycleisconsideredandachievemaximumcustomersatisfaction
WhileparticularlyinterestedincandidateswithaprocessorE&Iengineeringbackground,wewelcomeandencourageapplicationsfromallengineeringdisciplines.
Responsibilities
Leadandsupportbiomethane-to-gridprojectsfromconcepttocommissioning
Manageengineeringandprojectdeliveryactivities
Coordinatewithinternalteams,suppliers,andcustomers
Supportprocurementactivities,includingorderingmaterial,managingvendorrelationshipsandtrackingbudgets
Interpretandmark-uptechnicaldrawingsanddocumentation
Supportwithprojectdocumentationandplanning,includingdesignsubmittals,progressreports,andschedule.
Supportsiteinstallationandcommissioningactivities/arrangements
Maintainhighstandardsofsafety,quality,andcustomersatisfaction
Otherdutiesasrequired.

Preferredqualificationsandexperience:
HNCinEngineering
or
equivalenthands-onexperience
Experienceinprojectengineeringandplanning
Familiaritywiththegreenenergysector(biogas/biomethaneaplus)
Comfortablespeakingwithclientsandstakeholders
Computerliterateandabletoworkinafast-pacedenvironment
ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficetoolsandexperiencewithProjectManagementtoolsisaplus.
