Overview

PSR are currently working with a Tier 1 Contractor in the Wiltshire area who are seeking a PTS Engineer. This will be working on CP7 packages within a Rail and Civils environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Overseeing the entire project life cycle, managing depot enhancements, refurbishments, and new builds. Utilising your expertise in AutoCAD, you will contribute to meticulous planning and precise execution.
• Technical Expertise: Applying your proficiency in AutoCAD and setting out to provide intricate technical guidance in track work, drainage, geotechnical, and civil engineering. You will ensure that engineering solutions align with industry standards.
• Quality Control: Implementing stringent quality control measures through regular inspections to meet industry regulations and client specifications.
• Collaboration: Engaging with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and address technical challenges.
• Health and Safety: Prioritising a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance on-site and leading by example.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate project documentation using AutoCAD, including drawings, reports, and records.

Requirements

• PTS Certification: A valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification is mandatory.
• Engineering Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise in AutoCAD for project planning and execution.
• Experience: Proven experience in rail civils projects, particularly in geotechnical, drainage, and embankments.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in relevant engineering software with knowledge of rail industry standards and regulations.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills for quick resolution of challenges during project execution.
• Leadership: Proven leadership capabilities to motivate site teams and maintain a productive work environment.
