Awards-winning FinTech now requires a Python Software Engineer to contribute towards the design and development of market data solutions, ensuring systems are engineered to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data solutions for clients.
• Ensure system reliability and implement software engineering and company best practices.
• Collaborate with operations and product teams.
• Automate operational tasks via the implementation of workflow management software.

Qualifications

• Excellent Python and SQL skills.
• Minimum of 2 years FinTech, finance, market data experience working as a software engineer.
• Understanding of concepts in distributed systems.
• Excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn and solve problems.
• Desirable: C++, C, Java and Snowflake, Databricks.

This opportunity provides a base salary of up to £60,000 plus an excellent benefits package.

In terms of working structure, this is hybrid with 2 days per week in Central London office and the rest remote.
