Quality Control Engineer (PO296 - Chertsey)

We are partnering with a well-established engineering organisation to recruit a Quality Control Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, quality-driven professional who thrives on precision, compliance, and continuous improvement within a collaborative engineering environment. The Role You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing product quality across the full lifecycle — from supplier evaluation and design input through to production inspection and customer support. Working cross-functionally with engineering, production, procurement, and leadership teams, you will ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards while driving measurable improvements. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards Maintain ISO 9001-aligned quality management processes Conduct product inspections, internal audits, and supplier evaluations Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Apply quality tools such as SPC and FMEA to improve reliability and performance Analyse quality data to identify trends and drive improvements Support design reviews to ensure manufacturability and quality Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns Provide guidance and training on quality best practices About You
Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline Experience in a Quality Control or similar engineering/manufacturing role Strong knowledge of quality methodologies, regulatory compliance, and ISO 9001 Skilled in SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems Why Apply?
