Commutable from: Edinburgh, Livingston, Motherwell, Newbridge, Falkirk with relocation support if required! The Role: This is a full time, permanent role, based on-site, Monday to Friday. As an experienced Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the products meet exacting standards and customer specifications. You will work closely with production, design, and customer teams to drive continuous improvement and uphold the business’ commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain quality control systems and procedures. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Perform internal audits and support external audits (ISO 9001, AS9100) Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain documentation and quality records. Support customer quality assurance and compliance requirements. Engage with supplier to support and manage supply chain considerations. The Person: The successful candidate will have proven experience in a quality engineering role within a precision or advanced manufacturing environment and able to demonstrate a strong understanding of quality standards and methodologies such as ISO 9001 and FMEA processes. You will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a demonstrable proficiency in using quality tools and software (e.g. CMM, SPC, Minitab). Ideally experienced in Aerospace or heavy engineering, you will be able to demonstrate quality auditing experience, preferably to AS9100 standards.
