Our clients based closed to Havant, have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join their growing team.

The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Manager and assist strengthening the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance, reducing cost of poor quality, and driving continual improvement across all processes. Candidates with aerospace or pharmaceutical backgrounds will be particularly well-suited to this position.

Key Responsibilities · Assist to maintain and improve the ISO 9001 QMS. · Conduct and report on internal and audits. · Ensure customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements are met. · Lead root cause analysis and corrective action (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone). · Monitor closure and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. · Support new product introduction, including APQP and PPAP where required. · Analyse quality performance data (COPQ, scrap, complaints, supplier KPIs). · Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Competencies · ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification (essential). · Knowledge of QMS principles, auditing, and compliance. · Strong problem-solving skills. · Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications. · Analytical, detail-oriented, and organised.
