Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and aviation regulatory requirements. This role proactively identifies and manages quality issues from both internal and external sources, supports leadership with defined Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and promotes a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across Airborne ISR.

The position reports directly to the Quality Site Lead and supports the Accountable Manager and the Cyber, Space & Training Quality Manager.

Main Duties

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with military and civil aviation regulatory approvals, contractual obligations, and Raytheon's Code of Conduct.
  • Conduct quality audits and assessments to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
  • Drive proactive and predictive quality practices, including root cause analysis (8D/RRCA) and FMEA.
  • Support regulatory and contractual change management with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance compliance mapping tools and QMS management software.
  • Develop and report business metrics, using data-driven insights to recommend improvements to the Business Management System (BMS).
  • Promote risk-based thinking and a strong quality culture across Airborne ISR.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in quality management.

Candidate Requirements

Essential
  • Certified QMS Lead Auditor (AS9100).
  • Strong recent experience with aviation quality systems.
  • Regulatory training in one or more of the following:
  • Part 145, Part 21G, Part 21J, MAOS, DAOS, CFAOS, AS9110, Part CAMO/M.
  • Proficiency in proactive/predictive maintenance techniques, 8D (RRCA), and FMEA.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and promote a quality-first mindset.
Desirable
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate (Flows), SharePoint, and Power Apps.
  • Experience in developing and managing dashboards and reporting tools.
