This is a 12 month, fixed-term contract.Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the bar high in their highly regulated market!ResponsibilitiesIn the Quality Engineer position you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project inspections and technical requirements have been met. You’ll be working on large, complex, multi-disciplined projects within a strictly regulated environment – so it is essential that you have previously worked for, or gained experience at, an organisation of a similar size. The role will require the successful candidate to collate and analyse data, support with audits, and liaise with clients, so it is also essential that you have an eye for detail and enjoy analytical work.Ideally, you’ll have a good level of education and will have an HND, HNC or equivalent (NVQ 4) in Engineering and/or Construction or be a time-served engineer. Nuclear experience is preferred but not essential.
