Quality Engineer

Role: Support Quality Systems Development for Europe and the Deployment of Global Quality initiatives and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Development and Support: Provide BU teams with support for quality performance improvement and troubleshooting. Review quality planning and specifications proactively for new processes, machines, or products to minimize potential problems. Support BU teams with Q-Auto and SAP QM.
- Internal & External Auditing: Conduct corporate audits for all European sites. Support BU’s with key customer audits to ensure consistency. Audit material and equipment suppliers to highlight risks and promote improvements. Ensure compliance and certification for ISO 9001, BRC/IOP, ISO 22000 across all BU locations. Collaborate with the Central Procurement Team for supplier performance tracking and approval processes.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of plastic/polymer materials, additives, colorants, and processing techniques such as injection, blowing, extrusion, and recycling.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
- Proficiency in English
- Team-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Quality Management standards (ISO 9000:2015, BRC)
- Familiarity with quality tools (process flowcharts, Ishikawa diagrams, Pareto analysis, internal audits)
- Project management skills
- Equipment calibration expertise
Location is flexible; business travel is expected. Applications from candidates with relevant experience are welcome. Academic qualifications are less important than proven ability to perform the role. Salary will be based on experience.
