Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Oldbury

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience

Hours Of Work: 8am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am till 1.30pm Friday

The Role

Working for an established, successful and respected manufacturing business operating predominantly within the Automotive industry supply chain. As an experienced Quality Engineer you will be required to lead all quality related process in support of customer and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Customer and Internal Concern resolution System, Process and Product Auditing Support NPI - APQP Quality requirements Support internal training in Quality related aspects Support both Customer and Supplier Audits Lead investigations using 8D methodology Generate and distribute associated Quality Reports to key stake holders Drive quality improvements within manufacturing Accountabilities

Internal Audits to be completed to plan Closure of 8D report to required timings Ensure process adherence at all times Ensure quality data and reports are completed to the required timings Ensure associates are aware of the required Quality Standards Ensure associates are adequately trained to perform their duties Technical Skill Requirements
