This is an opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to advance their career! The role involves joining a Tier 1 Contractor working on infrastructure projects within the region.

The Opportunity:
You will work on high-profile rail projects across the North, reporting to the Quality Manager. Your responsibilities include ensuring project quality aligns with design specifications and the Quality Management System, and implementing processes to achieve first-time quality compliance. You will guide subcontractors in developing quality plans, processes, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Travel will constitute roughly 50% of your workweek to sites from Doncaster to Manchester and the North West for audits, inspections, and meetings.
Package:
The role offers a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, a company car or allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a 5% matched pension, health insurance, life assurance, and flexible benefits.

About You:
Experience from sectors like highways, energy, steel works, or rolling stock is acceptable; rail experience is not mandatory. Your role will include providing quality improvement measures, producing reports, promoting continuous improvement, and managing NCRs. Internal audit experience is required.
