We are looking for a hands on Mechanical Quality Inspection Engineer to lead our Quality department, inspecting our fuel system components. _
_The successful applicant will gain an exciting opportunity to influence positive change within a dynamic Engineering department, including bespoke R&D projects. _

_*RESPONSIBLE TO*_
_*Engineering Manager*_
*KEY DUTIES* * 1. Co-Ordinate the Quality office including first line management for all staff. * 2. Controlling the inspection of all parts received from suppliers, utilising a number of manual and digital inspection and measuring devices and equipment. * 3. Initiating and investigating all non-conforming parts. Raising non-conformance reports and liaising with suppliers for corrective actions and countermeasures. * 4. Compilation of detailed ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) for new products, new suppliers or parts manufactured by modified/repaired tooling.
*OTHER DUTIES* * 1. To work with the R&D team regarding product development. * 2. To work with Production to close off component quality issues. * 3. Ensuring all inspection details are recorded accurately.
*KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS* * 1. ECN process to be completed within a reasonable time. * 2. Maintain all inspection and test equipment. * 3. Maintain and review all Risk Assessments for the department. * 4. NCRs to be closed within 1 month. * 5. ISIRs to be distributed within 1 week.
