R&D Test Engineer
to join a dynamic and innovative team within a leading medical device manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about product testing in a highly regulated industry. You will be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and documenting test activities that support the design, verification, and validation of a range of medical devices.
This will include: Developing and authoring test protocols. Planning and conducting prototype evaluations. Performing bench testing, performance and functional testing, accelerated and real-time aging studies, and packaging validation. Analysing and summarising test results and preparing test summary reports to support regulatory submissions. Working closely with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure that all products meet safety, performance and compliance requirements.
To be successful, you will ideally have: Degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar. 2-5 years experience in product testing, verification or R&D, ideally within Medical Devices or similar highly regulated industry. Knowledge of sterilisation processes and packaging validation.
