Refrigeration Service Engineer - North West Region\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Engineer to join a well-established and respected specialist in industrial refrigeration, working across the North West region.\n\nThe business delivers bespoke, high-efficiency industrial cooling systems across sectors such as food manufacturing, cold storage, distribution, and pharmaceutical. They focus on ammonia, CO2, Water Chillers and glycol-based systems - all within large-scale industrial settings.\n Note: This role does not involve supermarket refrigeration. All sites are within industrial plant environments.\n\nOpen to Upskilling\n We are happy to speak with engineers from heavy commercial or supermarket refrigeration backgrounds - especially those with CO2, chiller, or pack system experience - who are keen to step into the industrial refrigeration space.
Full training and technical support will be provided.\n\nQualifications / Experience\n\nTime-served apprenticeship or similar technical training\nNVQ / City & Guilds Refrigeration Qualification\nF-Gas (C&G 2079 or CITB equivalent)\nFull UK driving license\nAmmonia experience but not essentialPackage\n\nSalary: Up to £46,000 (depending on experience)\nDoor-to-door pay - at overtime rate\n40-hour work week\n33 days holiday (including bank holidays)\nOn-call rota: 1 in 5 / 6\nOvertime paid at 1.5x hourly rate\nCompany van with fuel card - private use allowed\nUniform, smartphone, and laptop included\nExtensive training and upskilling opportunities (including ammonia and CO2)Location\n This is a mobile role covering the North West including areas such as Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Preston, and surrounding locations.\n\nCalibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their , , , /beliefs, or .
