Refrigeration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to be the expert on-site for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and commissioning commercial and/or industrial refrigeration and air con systems. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role involving both mechanical and electrical work, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
You’ll working for a for a very well-established HVAC-Refrigeration company, covering Yorkshire, Humberside and North Lincolnshire.
What you’ll be doing as Refrigeration Engineer:
* Perform service, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
* Carry out on-site installation and commissioning to meet required standards.
* Produce detailed technical reports and complete timesheets to support timely invoicing.
* Supervise and train junior engineers/apprentices on-site.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company quality standards.
* Travel as required, including occasional overnight stays and on-call duties.
What We’re Looking for in a Refrigeration Engineer:
* At least 5 years’ experience in servicing, installing, and performing mechanical and electrical work on commercial and/or industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
* Strong fault-finding skills: experience with CO₂, HFC, and Ammonia refrigerants is advantageous, though training can be...
