Role summary: In this role, you will lead and execute the quality assurance strategy for our software products, ensuring reliability and performance. You will work hands-on with cross-functional teams to design, automate, and maintain test cases, while mentoring engineers to embed a quality culture. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in QA automation with the ability to drive process improvements and collaborate closely with development and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans, with a focus on automated testing for software applications.
• Lead by example: Write, maintain, and optimize automated tests while guiding engineers on best practices.
• Collaborate with software development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects efficiently.
• Partner with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites and testing tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze, report, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and minimal regression.
• Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, including test scripts and reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and methodologies to enhance QA processes continuously.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve testing methodologies and quality assurance workflows.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in test automation and delivering high-quality software.
• Hands-on experience automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Practical experience with automated testing tools such as BrowserStack, SauceLabs, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Leadership experience: Ability to mentor engineers, define QA standards, and drive adoption of best practices.
• Excellent communication skills—you can articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
• High ownership mentality—you take pride in your work and see projects through to completion.
• A True team player—egoless and empathetic, you thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Fluent in English, with a knack for engaging in technical discussions.
• Based in the European Time Zone (UTC+0 / UTC+2) to align with our team\'s schedules.
