Up to £45,000 per year, depending on experience

The Role
As a Repair Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a wide range of gas appliances and systems. Working directly with customers, you'll combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct repairs, maintenance, and servicing of gas appliances and systems in residential settings
Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
Carry out safety checks, inspections, and compliance testing in line with industry standards
Provide excellent customer service and clear explanations of repair procedures and safety advice
Maintain detailed service records, including materials used and time spent on each job
Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
Adhere to all health and safety requirements and company procedures
Keep up-to-date with the latest regulations, products, and best practices in gas engineering
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a qualified, reliable, and motivated professional who takes pride in their technical ability and customer care. You'll thrive in a hands-on role where every day brings a new challenge.
Gas Safe registered with relevant qualifications (ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
Proven experience in repairing and maintaining gas appliances (boilers, heating systems, cookers)
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Sound understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance requirements
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure
GCSE or equivalent education (preferred)
Minimum of 1 year's experience in gas engineering (required)
