OverviewWe are a new university-based startup seeking motivated individuals to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated researcher/engineer to join our team working at the intersection of microfluidics, biomechanics, and advanced fabrication.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test microfluidic devices for biological and biomedical applications.Carry out fabrication using a range of techniques, including soft lithography, etching, laser cutting, and high-resolution 3D laser printing.Collaborate on engineering design and prototyping for novel research platforms.Essential skills & experienceHands-on experience with microfabrication methods (soft lithography, etching, laser-based approaches, 3D printing).Hands-on experience with fluidic systems.Strong engineering design skills (CAD/rapid prototyping).Practical experience in running experimental systems and data collection.DesirableExperience with finite element modelling (FEM) of mechanical systems.Background in sensors and control systems.This role is ideal for someone with a passion for applying engineering innovation to cutting-edge biomedical research.The role is initially for a period of one year with a competitive salary based on your experience.You must be able to work in London and have the right to work in the UK. #J-18808-Ljbffr
