A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced

Consultancy Engineer specialising in Vertical Transportation

to join a growing technical team. In this role, youll act as the

technical lead

for all activity related to

Vertical Transportation (VT) surveys and services , supporting clients with inspections, reports, and technical advice on lifts and escalators. Youll take ownership of survey delivery, liaising closely with clients, producing detailed technical reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The position also involves supporting other engineering teams with your VT expertise and occasionally conducting in-service inspections. Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver a range of

VT surveys, inspections, and consultancy projects .

Provide

technical reports and recommendations

based on your findings.

Act as a key technical point of contact for clients, maintaining excellent communication and professional service.

Support other internal teams with your

technical knowledge of lifts and escalators .

Ensure all work meets

statutory and company standards

for safety and quality.

What Were Looking For

Minimum

3 years experience

in electrical or mechanical engineering disciplines.

Strong working knowledge of

lifts, escalators, and vertical transportation systems .

NVQ Level 4

(Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or equivalent.

Ideally

Incorporated Engineer (IEng)

or working towards registration.

Ability to manage your own workload and travel as required across the UK & Ireland.

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
