One of the leading companies in the nuclear sector is looking to bring in a Safety Case Engineer to join the growing team working on vast projects in the nuclear space. This is one of the best and well-known projects and companies in the sector.

Role type: Permanent

Location: Warrington, Bristol, Leicester, Glasgow, or Newbury

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience

Our client is looking for several Principal Safety Case Engineers to join their nuclear projects. With flexible and remote working options, they are open to candidates from all over the UK.

You will be responsible for ensuring that engineering works are safe and secure by creating specialist plans and reviews.

You will examine engineering activities and manage the delivery of the necessary safety aspects. This role offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects, providing a varied work life.

The role requires Security Clearance, so candidates must be UK citizens with a British Passport.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce and design technical and general safety reports.
2. Create strategies for hazard management.
3. Mentor junior staff.
4. Author safety assessments in radiological work and hazard management.
5. Participate in HAZID/HAZOP sessions.
6. Manage the delivery of work undertaken by the supply chain.

Experience / Requirements:

1. Engineering degree in Engineering (Chartership desirable).
2. Experience working with multiple teams.
3. Experience with EPC (desirable).
4. 8+ years of relevant experience.
