What will you be doing?
We are seeking talented Systems Engineers to join a leading clean energy technology team. You will be instrumental in ensuring that complex energy systems are designed, integrated, and tested to meet rigorous performance, safety, and operational requirements. Your work will span from concept through design, integration, and verification, ensuring systems are fully aligned with project goals.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop, author, and maintain system safety cases in accordance with program and certification requirements (e.g. EASA/FAA).
- Identify safety-critical functions and ensure traceability between hazards, design mitigations, and verification evidence.
- Conduct detailed Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA) to assess design robustness and compliance with safety objectives.
- Drive design and architecture changes based on safety case findings and quantitative risk assessments.
- Work cross-functionally with systems, hardware, and software engineers to close safety gaps and implement mitigations early in the design lifecycle.
- Evaluate software and hardware safety assurance compliance to DO-178C and DO-254 respectively.
- Participate to safety reviews and provide clear, evidence-backed recommendations to design and certification teams.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience in systems engineering, ideally with exposure to FTA/FMEA.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across suppliers and internal teams.
- Background in integrating complex systems from concept to operational readiness.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience producing technical documentation and system specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
