Job Description
This is an opportunity to join one of the most exciting success stories in cybersecurity, a publicly listed SaaS organisation that’s been a market force for 15 years and is scaling at pace.
With revenues set to hit £1 billion this year and an ambitious trajectory towards £3 billion in the next 3–5 years, this business has its sights firmly set on becoming a true global leader in the cybersecurity cloud space.
The Role:
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit back and manage from the sidelines. It’s a player–coach position, where you’ll roll up your sleeves alongside your team, leading by example, running demos, pitching to enterprise clients, and selling from a deeply technical standpoint.
You’ll be:
- Leading a team of 3–6 high-performing Sales Engineers, coaching and developing them into A-players.
- Running high-value B2B SaaS demos and presentations, with average deal sizes around £300k.
- Partnering closely with sales teams to position the product’s technical value, build trust with customers, and influence C-level decision makers.
- Helping drive growth across major cloud platforms.
- Creating a culture of overachievement—this team thrives on results.
Requirements:
To succeed here, you’ll need:
- Proven success in B2B SaaS—cybersecurity or infrastructure software experience highly advantageous.
- A track record of technical sales excellence (Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solution Consulting).
- Experience on large, complex deals (ideally £1m+ in pipeline, with £300k average deal sizes).
- A leadership mindset—whether you’re already managing or you’re a top-performing Sales Engineer hungry for that next step.
- The ability to motivate and elevate a team, while staying in the trenches with them.
