Your new role
Sales Engineer - Leading-Edge Network and Security
We are looking for an experienced technical individual with a focus on leading-edge network and security solutions, across multiple verticals and vendors. The ideal candidate will understand network architecture and design, as well as experience with the latest network and security principles.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, working with Sales & Solution Consultants from an early stage of the opportunity cycle from both a technical & commercial perspective.
- Design and deliver detailed presentations and documentation both
- internally & externally that showcase your solution and benefits – either in person or over a video conferencing tool.
- Remain knowledgeable in your allotted technology vertical as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), by continuing to develop your skills and study new market data.
- Expectations for the role in 3 months is to have intermediate knowledge of the Exponential-e technologies.
- Success in this role will look like working autonomously on customer designs
What you’ll need to succeed
- Demonstrable organization, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge in common networking principles & protocols such as:
- L2-L4 TCP/IP Stack
- Protocols such as OSPF, BGP & VRRP
- Next-Gen Firewall, IPSec & application-aware routing
