We are enthusiastic, highly skilled and have in place the necessary management and ISO9001 quality systems to ensure that we meet our customers' needs, right first time, on time, every time.POSITION SUMMARYAvtron is seeking to hire a Sales Engineer who can successfully build effective business relationships, is customer focused, and has strong problem-solving skills. The Sales Engineer will work closely with key customers to provide world class customer service. Is required to support customer enquiries, develop suitable technical solutions, create and submit technical quotations and support the external Sales Team. This role requires Electrical Engineering knowledge, strong communication skills, follow-up skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work across functions to address customer issues. This position will work on site at the Easton-on-the-Hill (Stamford) Northamptonshire office.Main Purpose of the JobFocus on the sale of Avtron product in Europe, MEA and Asia regionBuild relationship with both customer and inter departmental personnelBe the go-to contact for Avtron orientated enquiriesMaintain high customer satisfaction by identifying, understanding, and promptly addressing customers’ needsManage customer enquiries from receipt of enquiry through order.Support and cover for other team members wherever necessary to achieve business goals and targetsExecutes KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize customers service levelsSupport the Avtron External Sales team with product understanding and sales supportOwnership, participation and assistance of the duties and responsibilities outlined below.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneration of Technical QuotationsExpedites enquiries and process customer Purchase Orders.Leverage the Sales ProcessTravel may be required up to 20%QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field or equivalent level of experience is preferred2-4 years of relevant inside sales or customer service experienceProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience using SAP and CRMs systems a plusCreative problem-solver with outstanding customer service skillsStrong Electrical Engineering background essentialDemonstrate flexibility and continuous improvementCollaborative Team workerFocus on commercial outcomes and delivering value for moneyAbility to deliver at paceProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience using SAP and CRMs systems a plusGeneral StatementThe duties listed are not set forth for the purposes of limiting the assignment of work.
