Our client is a well known Robot Arm manufacturer, and are seeking an internal sales/service support person to join the team in Warrington. This Sales & Service Support Engineer role could become a remote working function as the successful candidate develops in the role.
Its a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the company in a hybrid type role, covering all areas of service and sales, primarily a support function but this could develop as a solid career progression into a more focused role either in service or sales.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Support company sales & service team with day-to-day activities, booking appointments, generating quotes, dealing with customer enquiries
Researching new business opportunities and generating new sales leads, assisting the sales and service team to increase sales
Action all customer enquiries promptly and pass onto relevant team members
Prepare and present detailed quotations and specifications ensuring customer requirements are met for design, projects or order processing
Propose and present technical solutions to customers as required
Negotiate contracts & review terms & conditions in line with company policy
Coordinating the activities of others to meet customer specifications/requirement (e.g. Applications Team, Service Team or Third Party)
A formal engineering qualification is desired but not essential
Experience in service sales with a customer service background would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A thorough approach to tackling problems and the ability to work methodically
The ability to work as part of a team
Full clean driving licence
Most importantly, the successful candidate must be keen, ambitious with the desire to build a solid career in industrial automation/robotics
