About the Role

We are seeking experienced Data Engineers with strong coding skills in SAS and/or Informatica, ideally with additional experience in Python. The role will involve productionising file copy processes from a data store, with responsibilities covering both design and run/support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and maintain data pipelines using SAS, Informatica, and Python.
• Productionise file copy processes, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure workflows.
• Work with stakeholders to design, build, and support data solutions aligned with business needs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain ongoing data flows in a production environment.
• Support data quality, integrity, and governance standards.
• Document processes, technical specifications, and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAS and/or Informatica development.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of data management, storage, and integration practices.
• Ability to work in both design and run/support capacities.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Previous experience working in large-scale or government/public sector projects is highly desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks within government projects.
