Security Engineer (Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control)

Location: Kent & Brighton

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced security engineer specialising in Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control who is ambitious and driven to join our ever-growing team. This is a long-term career opportunity with progression opportunities available within the company.

Responsibilities:

* Your role will be to complete the maintenance and servicing of Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems, efficiently, safely and conscientiously, to NSI standards.

* Complete small works projects independently.

* To ensure that the client is satisfied in all aspects of the service prior to leaving site

* Project a high level of quality customer services at all times, offering a personal approach, and maintaining/developing good relations with clients and colleagues.

* Good Writing Skills - To ensure that the relevant documentation is fully completed in an accurate and timely manner – including instructions, timesheets, audit paperwork/job sheets, work reports, service reports and expense claims.

* Adhere to company policy and best practice at all times, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.

* Provide telephone support to clients and take an active part in the on-call system

Knowledge/Requirement

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with large-scale networked systems ranging across, but not limited to, Texecom, Galaxy, Milestone, Paxton.

* Previous experience working on projects / service call outs independently.

* Experience in working on projects is essential

* Knowledge of Fire Alarms is advantageous but not a requirement

* Full, clean UK driving licence is essential – a company car/van can be provided

* Up to date CSCS/ECS card

* Accurate attention to detail - to identify if the customer requires additional products and services to enhance their safety.

Things to note:

* The majority of our sites are based across Kent, with one additional site in Brighton.

* All sites are NHS commercial properties.

* We are also looking for subcontractors.
