Overview

Security Engineer - 3 Month Contract - Hybrid - London. My client, a global business, is looking for an experienced Security Engineer to provide SME level expertise to an email security project - migrating Mimecast to Proofpoint.

The successful candidate must have expert level, hands-on experience using Proofpoint, including the setup of policies, general configuration and knowledge transfer. The project objectives include aligning the customer’s global email security posture as a key initiative within the business roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Proofpoint policy configuration setup for multiple regions across Europe.
• Provide ongoing hands-on support within a migration from Mimecast to Proofpoint.
• Support the setup of TAP Isolation, Account Takeover Protection and Encryption.
• Monitor Proofpoint logs and contribute to IP reputation building efforts.
• Participate in working sessions with end users to strengthen the company’s security posture.
• Assist with DMARC domain enrolment and validation within Proofpoint.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must have proven experience with Proofpoint, configuration and enhancements.
• A strong background within email security.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.

Engagement Details

The successful Security Engineer will be working 2 days a week onsite in London.
