Overview

On behalf of our client, a US Cybersecurity company, we are looking for a Security Solution Engineer / Architect. This is a remote first opportunity for professionals based in EEA (European Economic Area).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Solution Engineer located anywhere in Europe. The Security Solution Engineer will be responsible for software development, consulting, sales, presales, and integration. Day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing security solutions, consulting with clients to understand their security needs, engaging in sales and presales activities, and integrating security technologies into existing systems. The role requires close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the delivery of effective security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and sales technical / functional support and solution strategy to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the client\'s technology/application to the customers organization, align client\'s product and services capabilities to customers business drivers
• Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, and unique values.
• Present and articulate client\'s product\'s strengths, and differentiation relative to competitors, creating the demand.
• Develop and deliver high quality client\'s presentations and product demonstrations.
• Design, validate, and present client\'s software solutions to include advanced product concepts, and 3rd party complementary services.
• Effectively consult with management of customer organizations.
• Participates in sales planning and business development activities.
• Architect solutions and prototype, and demonstrate moderately complex solutions for customers.
• Interacts with development to enhance/refine client\'s products for autonomous AI runtime security for distributed workloads.
• Set a brand preference to client.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Sales/Systems Engineering, or Solution Architect experience.
• Security product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis is required
• Expertise in internet working industry trends, including SD-WAN, Enterprise networking, Runtime Security, AI, Data Center, Cloud, Digital Transformation, Automation, and more.
• Experience with AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Native applications, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of ML Ops, AI Ops, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of competitive product and solution landscapes.
• Advanced knowledge in Routing & Switching, Data Center, and Security.
• Strong technical consulting skills, including defining trade-offs, asking probing questions, and integrating Cisco solutions into broader environments.
• Ability to share replicable architectures tailored to customers\' needs
• Programming skills are a plus. In-depth knowledge of your specialization and adjacent technologies, including product, technology, and competitive insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong presentation skills, delivering clear explanations of security solutions architectures, business justification and outcomes, and values, closing techniques.
