About the role/team
Team Edge is Beamery's AI team, researching, building, and owning best-in-class AI models in production. Currently, we are productionising our own LLMOps and MLOps infrastructure to enable every team at Beamery to introduce agentic workflows into our systems.

What you will be doing at Beamery
- Play a critical role in designing, developing, and operating the next generation of our core AI services, APIs, and the data science models supporting them.
- Collaborate with MLOps to continuously improve deployment and monitoring of models and services in production.
- Execute projects end-to-end, from discovery and design through prototyping, implementation, measuring success, and owning operations.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and teammates to identify and implement optimal design approaches that deliver value to customers.
- Improve internal processes, documentation, and ways of working, embracing agile methodologies, sprint-based delivery, and a customer-centric approach.
- Foster a vibrant, inclusive company culture by creating a welcoming environment where team members feel empowered to share ideas and creativity.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives and learning opportunities; such as tribes, hackathons, and programs like Women in Engineering to promote diversity and inclusion.
Who are we looking for?
- Skilled in scaling and productizing ML models, including offline batch data products and models deployed in real-time online services.
- Expertise with Python and its ecosystem.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Curious and thoughtful—eager to understand the "why" before jumping into technical implementation.
- Clear and effective communicator.
- Proactive team player dedicated to continuous improvement.
