Responsibilities

• Pioneer Advanced Engineering Practices: actively shape and refine our engineering discipline for the AI age. Introduce faster, more creative workflows and development patterns suited to AI-powered development.
• Teach, Coach & Mentor: serve as a go-to expert on AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Google Gemini, Cursor). Lead by example through pairing sessions, code reviews, and hands-on guidance to elevate the team’s skills.
• Lead by Example: remain a hands-on developer embedded within teams, model best practices, solve complex problems using AI tools, and inspire others with high engineering standards.
• Champion AI-Powered Development: drive adoption of AI-first methodologies with a pragmatic, persistent approach. Collaborate with peers, tech leads, and product managers to foster curiosity and innovation.
• Translate Technical Gains to Product Value: understand how AI-powered methodologies impact products and articulate the value—from productivity gains to enhanced capabilities—to product and engineering stakeholders.
