As a Senior AI/ML Data Engineer, you'll take a leading role in shaping the foundation of the company's AI and data ecosystem. You'll be responsible for designing robust data pipelines, building reliable ETL/ELT processes, and implementing systems that power AI-driven product features. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering and AI, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent, scalable solutions. Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to support AI-powered features Develop and optimize embeddings, vector databases, and RAG pipelines for efficient information retrieval Implement and experiment with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex Ensure seamless integration between data pipelines and existing product or platform services Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, observability, and performance within AI workflows Deploy and maintain Python-based AI services in production environments Collaborate closely with product, platform, and research teams to ensure data-driven innovation aligns with business goals
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development, ideally within SaaS environments Strong command of Python (FastAPI, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow experience is a plus) Expertise in SQL, relational databases, and data modeling Familiarity with embeddings and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS Experience working with AI frameworks for RAG or orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and integrating pipelines into complex systems Bonus skills: cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster)
